Tablet/Phone Requirements

Android

  • Android 9.0 or later is required.
  • Android devices must support the Bluetooth HID (Human Interface Device) feature to use VirtualTablet: Bluetooth.
    • Some budget devices from manufacturers like Xiaomi, Redmi, Oppo, Realme, Nokia, and TECNO may not include Bluetooth HID support.
    • If your device lacks this feature, the app will display a Bluetooth HID error status on top of the ‘Connect’ page.

iOS

  • iOS 15.6 or later is required.
  • Apple Pencil is supported on iOS, including pressure, tilt, double tap, and squeeze features where available.

macOS requirement for iOS users: your Mac and iOS device must be signed in to the same Apple Account. If they are signed in to different accounts, your Mac may not appear in the scan list and you will not be able to connect.

Download Agent for macOS

Windows and Linux do not require any additional software installation. Only macOS needs this agent app running.

Auto-Update Feature The agent includes an auto-update feature, but manual downloads are available if needed.

PC Requirements

  • Your computer must support Bluetooth 4.0 or higher
    • If your computer doesn’t have built-in Bluetooth, you can use a USB Bluetooth dongle.
  • VirtualTablet: Bluetooth has been tested and confirmed working on:
    • Windows 10/11
    • macOS 12 (Monterey) or newer
    • Linux distributions
      • Ubuntu 25 (GNOME), Kubuntu 25 (KDE)
