Privacy Statement

Effective Date: November 6, 2025

This Privacy Policy describes how Sunnysidesoft (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the “VirtualTablet: Bluetooth” mobile application (the “app”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

1. Information We Collect

“VirtualTablet: Bluetooth” is designed with privacy in mind. We do not require user accounts or collect personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers. However, we do collect certain anonymous data to improve the app and provide advertising services.

1.1 Information We Collect Directly

  • No User Accounts: We do not require registration, login, or any personal identification information.
  • No Personal Data Storage: We do not store personal user data on our servers.

1.2 Bluetooth Device Discovery

To enable connection between your tablet and computer, the app:

  • Searches for available Bluetooth devices in range
  • Facilitates Bluetooth pairing and connection between your tablet and computer
  • Accesses Bluetooth device names and addresses for connection purposes only
  • This information is only used temporarily to establish connections and is never stored or transmitted to the internet

1.3 Stylus Input Data

Data transmitted between your tablet and computer consists of:

  • Stylus movement coordinates
  • Pressure sensitivity levels
  • Tilt and twist orientation data
  • Button click events

This data is sent directly to your computer over Bluetooth and is not collected, stored, or accessed by Sunnysidesoft.

1.4 Analytics and Crash Data

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous usage and diagnostic information, including:

  • Analytics Data: App usage patterns, feature interactions, session duration, device model, operating system version, app version, and general location (country/region level)
  • Crash Reports: Technical diagnostic data when the app crashes, including device state, stack traces, and app performance metrics

This data is collected anonymously and does not include personally identifiable information. It helps us understand how users interact with the app and identify and fix technical issues.

1.5 Advertising Data

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the app. AdMob may collect and process the following information for ad delivery and personalization:

  • Device advertising ID (which can be reset in your device settings)
  • Device type and operating system
  • IP address (used to derive general location)
  • App usage data and ad interaction data
  • Other data collected by AdMob as described in Google’s Privacy Policy

AdMob uses this information to show relevant advertisements based on your interests. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device’s ad settings.

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • App Functionality: To enable the core function of transmitting stylus input from your tablet to your computer over Bluetooth
  • Analytics: To understand how users interact with the app, which features are most used, and to improve app performance and user experience
  • Crash Reporting: To identify, diagnose, and fix technical issues and bugs in the app
  • Advertising: To display relevant advertisements through Google AdMob and measure ad performance

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Analytics and advertising data is processed by Google Firebase and AdMob in accordance with their privacy policies.

3. Third-Party Services

“VirtualTablet: Bluetooth” integrates with the following third-party services:

3.1 Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics)

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, services provided by Google LLC, to collect anonymous usage data and crash reports. Firebase may collect and process data as described in Section 1.4.

3.2 Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the app. AdMob may collect and use data as described in Section 1.5 to provide personalized advertisements.

How to Opt Out of Personalized Ads:

  • Android: Go to Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
  • iOS: Go to Settings > Privacy > Advertising > Enable “Limit Ad Tracking”

3.3 RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat integrates with Google Play Store and Apple App Store to process purchases and collect purchase-related information for billing and analytics purposes.

RevenueCat may collect:

  • Purchase history and subscription status
  • Transaction identifiers
  • Device identifiers for purchase validation
  • App user ID (anonymous identifier generated by the app)
  • Product identifiers and pricing information

This information is used solely for:

  • Processing and validating purchases
  • Managing subscription status
  • Providing billing analytics
  • Preventing fraud

RevenueCat does not collect personally identifiable information unless you create an account with them directly.

These third-party services have their own privacy policies and terms of service. We encourage you to review them to understand how they collect and process data.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information collected through the app:

  • Stylus Input Data: Transmitted directly between your devices over Bluetooth, not routed through external servers, and not stored by Sunnysidesoft
  • Analytics and Crash Data: Transmitted securely to Firebase servers using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Anonymous Data: Analytics and crash data collected is anonymous and does not include personally identifiable information

Users are responsible for securing their own Bluetooth connections. While we implement security measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to third-party services like Firebase, AdMob, and RevenueCat.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our app does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). While we collect anonymous analytics and crash data through Firebase, and display advertisements through AdMob, we do not knowingly target children or collect personal information from them.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at [email protected], and we will take steps to delete such information from our systems and request deletion from third-party services.

Firebase and AdMob have their own policies regarding children’s data. We recommend reviewing Google’s policies on data collection from children.

6. International Users

“VirtualTablet: Bluetooth” is available globally. When you use our app, anonymous analytics and crash data may be transmitted to and stored on Google’s Firebase servers, which may be located in various countries including the United States. Purchase information may also be processed by RevenueCat servers in various locations.

By using our app, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection laws. Google Firebase, AdMob, and RevenueCat comply with applicable data protection regulations, including GDPR for European users.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google provides appropriate safeguards for international data transfers as required by applicable law.

7. Your Rights

  • Right to access your personal data
  • Right to rectification or deletion of your personal data
